The Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA) is interested in receiving proposals from U.S. law firms with experience in handling cases in federal agencies such as, but not limited to, the Department of Energy, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Natural Resources. Experience of no less than 10 years in the energy sector, particularly in generation and renewable energy, is required. Spanish Language Capabilities are desirable.
Provide legal services to PREPA’s Program Management Office, Generation Directorate and its Environmental Protection Division, as well as for matters before the Puerto Rico Energy Bureau (PREB) and the Puerto Rico Public-Private Partnership Auhtority (P3A) provide services related to ongoing requests for information from PREB’s resolutions, Congress and other entities; any other legal service as requested by PREPA; and work, as required, with other consulting, legal, or investment firms.
